For our first ever Amsterdam Dance Event we present to you the 5-day club programme that’s not just distinct, but a lot of fun too. DJ Stingray, Or:la, John Talabot, Optimo and I-F are just a few names on the bill. Next to them all five of noorderschip’s new-called residents are lined-up for ADE too.
The festival starts with a night curated by electro’s key figure DJ Stingray on Wednesday the 17thof October. The Detroit native – rarely seen without his intimidating black balaclava -invited Japan’s DJ Nobu, Russia’s Inga Mauer and Sweden’s SPFDJ for a night full of industrial techno, new wave and electro of course.
Thursday is for everybody’s favourite music site Rasom Note - known as the acid house-obsessed, second cousin of Private Eye - and Spun Out Agency. Who are taking care of business on the Thursday of ADE with this super strong line-up: Optimo, Bawrut, Mehmet Aslan, Autarkic and Timothy Clerkin.
If you are heading down to our club on Friday the 20th of October you’ll find one of the freshest line-ups around. Coming at you with London dj and musician Call Super who has been marking his way around the planet with his clever sound. Liverpool resident Or:la takes a fairly selective approach to gigging, so don't wait on this one, if you would like to see her in action. Closing the bill are noorderschip's residents Jasmín and Pieter Jansen who have proven to be local forces to be reckoned with.
Hivern Discs' John Talabot and C.P.I. and our main captain David Cornelissen and resident Spekki Webu are in charge of the Saturday. While Sunday closes the week with some fresh names: the ever friendly Gerd Janson, The Hague’s thunderbolt I-F, noordership’s San Franciscan friend Solar and residents Pasiphae and Moody Mehran.
So there you have it, take your pick, there’s more than enough to choose from.
The wait is over on Wednesday the 17thof October, but you can start anticipating and get your tickets here.
